The decision to change the venue was that of Stephen Werner who has this to say:
”Newlands Cricket Stadium is the perfect location for this annual event. KDay is the Western Cape’s biggest one day music festival, featuring a line-up of the country’s hottest music acts on one stage. He continues, “Attendance to the event has grown exponentially over the past few years and with twenty thousand fans expected to attend next year we want to ensure everyone has a great experience. Newlands is a tried and tested location geared towards this kind of crowd capacity.”
Thanks to the stellar success of the 2014 event MTN have renewed the partnership with KFM.
Larry Annetts; MTN SA Chief Marketing Officer said, “As the biggest and supporter of South African musical talent, our partnership with KDay ensures that we continue with our proud tradition of bringing the hottest and most prestigious family friendly music festivals to our customers”.
