Given Gain Platform to raise funds for local NGO’s Income Generation Project

Did you know that what you think and say can make you feel good and happy?  This is what an affirmation is for – a positive phrase that we think or say repeatedly – “I am beautiful, I am smart, I am kind, I am healthy”.  Local NGO, the Earthchild Project uses affirmations to teach children in the townships about the power of positive thinking. The first set of ‘I Am’ Affirmation cards were developed together with the talented designer Leigh Franks from Feel in 2012 as a way of generating income for Earthchild Project with all profits going directly back into the NGO.

Following on this success, they’ve decided to do print run number two using the online platform Given Gain where people worldwide can pledge their support and make a donation. The campaign will be running over the next 3 months in which Earthchild Project is hoping to reach their goal of R80 000 for the reprint. Children around the world will learn how to better care for themselves, each other and the earth and at the same time they’ll be supporting others less fortunate than themselves to do the same.
